In 2003, oil and gas technology providers Paradigm Technologies, Petroleum Financial Inc. and Novistar merged, creating P2 Energy Solutions. The following year, Tobin International joined and, in 2005, Qbyte became the most recent addition to the P2 Energy Solutions family.

The Qbyte product line of financial management, land management, production accounting and geotechnical solutions has been used in the Canadian oil and gas industry for more than 20 years.
