P2 Energy Solutions Announces that it has entered into an agreement with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation to create Producing Units in 14 east and south Texas counties
HOUSTON, TX (April 16, 2008)—P2 Energy Solutions announced today, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Headquarters in The Woodland, Texas; has entered into an agreement with P2 Energy Solutions’ Tobin Map Data to create Producing Units1 and associated attributes for 14 east and south Texas counties. Additionally, Anadarko also contracted with P2 Energy Solutions for the development of rural subdivision data in South Texas.
Founded in San Antonio, Texas, in 1928, Tobin has long been the industry leader in serving the spatial informational needs of the oil and gas industry, with more reserves found and more acreage leased using Tobin maps than any other system. Since 1993, Anadarko used Tobin’s SuperBase® for its land management needs. SuperBase is the industry’s most comprehensive, continuous high-resolution map base data coverage available for the United States.

1 Producing Units - are P2 Energy Solutions’ identified producing wells that have a designated unit or pooling area as defined or described on a Designation of Unit instrument which is recorded in the county records of the county within which that unit or pooling area is located. The Producing Unit product represents P2 Energy Solutions’ best efforts in building this file based from information contained internally to P2 Energy Solutions’. P2 Energy Solutions’ has not performed a comprehensive and historical review of the county records or at the Texas Railroad Commission and makes no representations or warrants as to the completeness or accuracy of this product. These instruments have a distinct geographic location description. This product does NOT represent “lease wells”, production units or any other pooled area that is identified and filed solely with the Railroad Commission for the State of Texas. Updates to Producing Units are offered as annual subscriptions with the updates delivered quarterly.
