Utilizing the Tobin brand of extensive commercial landbase products, our custom service department prepares a basic centerline pipeline route.

 

Using survey and cultural landbase features, the Tobin custom services department establishes tie points along the line either from a generalized pipeline system map, engineering alignment sheet or facility coordinates.

 

 

 

                           

 

The proposed centerline is then viewed against current ortho-rectified aerial photographs (if available), digital ortho-quarter quads (DOQQs), and/or Tobin U.S.G.S. seamless 7.5' topo map base.

Tobin works closely with our customers to verify the accuracy of the centerline route resulting in a certified pipeline centerline. In developing strong relationships with our business partners, we are able to provide specialized pipeline expertise. This partnership may be required to implement a fully integrated facility management GIS system. This partnership also enables our customers to generate a return on their investment in the development of an accurate, certified pipeline centerline.

Tobin also provides services to create custom digital and/or paper pipeline maps with the certified pipeline centerline, which can be used for regulatory filings (DOT or TxRRC) and S-1 or trade show exhibits.
