Entelligent Viewpoint Reporting

Energy Viewpoint is an operational query and reporting tool. Energy Viewpoint uses a summary reporting table called the Energy Account Balances table (FZ16902) for query results. Control panels allow users to build queries over the information in the table.

Users can build queries based on: company, cost center, AFE, hierarchy, and account information. Queries generate reports and can be saved for future use. Energy Viewpoint reports can be used to answer operational queries by drilling down from a balance in an account, cost center, or AFE to the detailed journal entry and to build summarized reports with user-defined parameters.

The cost center reports provide metrics for operating income, lifting costs (per BOE), net income (per BOE), royalty as a percent of revenue, and volumes per day by product. You can construct summary reports to group and subtotal by account categories with the ability to include and exclude an account category from your report. The AFE reports provide metrics for variance to budget and percent spent at the AFE and account level. The hierarchy reports provide a summarized operating income with the ability to drill down through the hierarchy and to the cost center or AFE details that make up the operating income. The account reports provide a balance by general ledger or activity date with the ability to break and subtotal information at the company, business unit, object, subsidiary, general ledger or activity date level.

Reports can be viewed online from within the Energy Viewpoint forms or as PDF files, which can then be printed or downloaded using standard PeopleSoft functionality.
